How to gain confidence in my dog for a walk around the house without peeing?
My 6 months old male shih Poo in your room is always very small when we are not at home or, sometimes, when I start r feel bad for him, I want to stop walking freely around the house I'm afraid that could only urinate in a Instead, what can I do? I do not want him to have to be stuck in that room all day
I have the same exact problem with my shi-chuc (shitzu Chihuahua PUG) I started by putting a leash and walk around the house. When you try to go to the bathroom I picked him up and carried him outside. Then, when he was praised me and showed the outside was good. That worked for a time but eventually returned to his old habits. Until we learned to get out only what I did in the kitchen by placing a baby gate. But he learned quickly and can walk freely now haha Good luck with your dog!
